My name is Amanda, founder of Family Court McKenzie Friend – Kent & London. I am a trained Professional McKenzie Friend by McKenzie Friend UK Network, with over 23 years’ experience working in domestic abuse and the family courts.

Alongside my McKenzie Friend role, a qualified Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor (IDVA) and have worked at Victim Support, Local Charities as CEO, Kent County Council within the Family Drug & Alcohol Court and co-developed The Phoenix Program, now delivered across Kent. 

My training includes Safeguarding, DASH Risk Assessment, Health and Social Care, Criminology, Domestic Abuse, Equality, Diversity and Human Rights, GDPR, and Effective Communication with Children and Families, to name a few.

I set up Family Court McKenzie Friend – Kent & London to provide clear, compassionate, and practical support at an affordable price. I’m always upfront about costs, so you know exactly where you stand, and I offer flexible appointments, including evenings and weekends, to fit around your work and family life.

My aim is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process, making family court affordable to all.
